You either loved it, or hated it.
It's Ohranger. And while people were very mixed on the series, I feel that any true evaulation is unfair due to the changes forced upon the show thanks to Japan's numerous problems that year.
Anywho...this is the Power Brace. The official changer of the five UAOH members chosen to become Ohranger. Not much can be said about this changer other than it's basic and kinda pretty. Connect the buttons, and then it jumps from silent to annoying in a split second. London Bridge is falling down? Who in the world picked a nursery rhyme for this toy? And if you never saw Ohranger, you might be a bit surprised to know that the Changers make the same sound in the show. It sounds kinda bizarre since the background music played when they transform is pretty cool.
This really marked the end of an era. Between 1988 and 1995 we had sporadic uses of these two piece wrist changers. There was the Twin Brace, Turbo Brace, Cross Changer, Aura Changer and finally this. The Power Brace. Sure there was the Accel Changer with it's key, but that wasn't the same. If anything, that changer was a parody more than anything. I'm talking full on wrist mounted toys. Now we have the Geki Changer from Gekiranger. My thoughts on that...will be coming soon [i'm planning something special for that one!].
The Power Brace is a cool device. American fans had it pretty easy with this one as well. The Zeonizer from Power Rangers Zeo is almost identical [aside from a few minor changes]. To date it's still considered one of the closest Changer to Morpher toys. Sadly though, you won't find either with a reasonable price. Either one will fetch atleast $50 in presentable shape.

Alot of you have asked for this one as well...so here it is. The King Brace from Ohranger!
Like Dragonranger and Kibaranger before him, Kingranger received a repainted version of the team's changer. The Power Brace is painted gold and chrome, given a new metal gate and crystal. Viola! We have the King Brace.
I must say...this toy is pretty weak. I enjoyed the Power Brace quite a bit [though in terms of awesomeness, it didn't reach that level]. If Bandai really wanted to make this toy unique, they could've done much more than slapped on some paint, a new grill, and a little plastic thing on the crystal. Maybe they could've gone the way of the Kiba Changer and done something crazy like make a key. In the end though, they did try harder than they did for the Dragon Buckler.
Power Rangers Zeo did indeed release a toy version of the King Brace called the Gold Zeonizer. The only differences between the Japanese and American version are that the American version has dull gold paint [as opposed to the King Brace being brighter and closer to yellow chrome], the Zeonizer is missing the Ohranger logo on each band, and the battery compartment does not require a screwdriver in the King Brace. If money is an issue, it's hard to say which one to go for since they're both pricey.

I love Carranger! It's probably the last series I was fully engorged in [even since then, it's either been 'enjoy' or 'hate']. As always, here is another unbiased review of the Deluxe Accelchanger!
By the time Carranger rolled onto the scene, the Changer had grown a bit stale in my opinion. While they were all nice, the changers between Jetman and Ohranger had little imagination. So the Accelchanger wasn't merely a case of "Meet the new boss, same as the old one.", it was only slightly different. It had a sense of humor...
I mean Carranger is a fun show. Whether or not they designed the Accelchanger as a serious toy is unknown. In my humble opinion though, it's just goofy. And I love it!
As for the toy and it's details. It is built a little shoddily. As you can tell from mine, it's been removed from the box all of three times and still managed to get a tiny smudge in the paint. Aside from that, the key has a diecast blade and it's lights/alarms are bright and as annoying as they should be. I absolutely have to give it a thumbs up here.
Power Rangers fans were treated to a quasi-similar release of the Accelchanger called the Turbo Morpher from the Power Rangers Turbo line. All mentions of Carranger have obviously been removed and the "Carranger" molded onto the Changer itself was replaced with a racky "Turbo Rangers" decal. Lame. If you can look past that, the toys are the same. Just.

Here is the second and last toy to review for Gekisou Sentai Carranger. This is Signalman's Badge/Weapon: The DX Signaizer.
The Signaizer has three modes. Badge, Police Baton Mode and Gun Mode. In the Badge Mode it can record a short sound clip of your voice or a sound effect. Either pull the trigger or press the "P" button to playback what you recorded. Baton Mode is a short Baton and Gun Mode is [obviously] a gun. Also included is a Chromed badge of Signalman's logo.
The big drawback of this toy is the lack of electronics. Sure you can record voice, but who wants to hear their voice when they pull the trigger in gun mode? Why not some kind of sound effect in addition to voice recording? Also, my toy was still sealed when I reviewed it and the electronics have held up terribly for a brand new toy. Granted, it's 11 years old now but my 80s watched work perfectly and have more complex electronics than a simple voice recorder.
Other than that this toy is pretty neat. While it may not be a Henshin Brace, I also like to review police badges [See my Jiban Badge Review and several other Metal Hero badges i'll be reviewing in the future]. So this fits in nicely with my review [even if Signalman didn't transform].
Power Rangers Turbo saw a release of this toy as well. This was the Blue Senturion's Senturion Synergizer. It would've been funny if they took a different route and made this some kind of Power Morpher and had some guy transform into Blue Senturion. Alas, that was not the case. The toy was released unchanged from it's Carranger counterpart aside from the badge being absent.
