Es war ein Wahnsinns-Fight und ein unglaublich umkämpftes Spiel. Wir sind enorm zufrieden, es ist ein tolles Gefühl. Meine Spieler sind nach diesem aufreibenden Spiel, das in punkto Dramatik alles geboten hat, natürlich auch müde. Die Türkei war erwartungsgemäß stark, auch technisch, wir haben hingegen nicht ganz unser Spiel durchgebracht, es gab Phasen mit vielen Fehlern und wir sind nicht immer in die Zweikämpfe gekommen. Aber nach dem 2:2 haben wir noch einmal zurückgeschlagen und tolle Moral bewiesen. Selbstverständlich haben wir aber immer daran geglaubt, auch wenn wir nach dem 2:2 mit einer Verlängerung rechnen mussten. Das 3:2 war klasse heraus gespielt, natürlich war es ein Kraftakt, aber das wussten wir vorher. Wir hatten heute nicht so viele Chancen wie gegen Portugal, aber wir haben Effizienz bewiesen.
