my first original compliation on the hang drum filmed for youtube The hang drum is made by two people Sabina and Felix from Switzerland. They originally made the carabiean style steel drums but started make the Hang drum since 2000. Because there are only two makers in the world and because they are so popular they are very hard to get hold of. If you woul kile to purchase a Hang you need to write a letter to Sabina anf felix asking for an appointment then wait for a hand written answer when you will be invited to go to switzerland for an appointment. The earliest appointments will be in 2008 when you can go and meet the makers an select a Hang drum which has notes that suit your style of music! Hope you enjoy my songs!! love dizzi

Here's my first video with my first Integral Hang from PANArt. Many subtle changes in design this year, and each one that I saw was visually very different from the others (and sonically slightly different), even though they are all now the same 'scale' - D Ding, A, Bb, C, D, E, F, A. Please excuse my rudimentary attempts at 'playing around' the tone fields. I'm still working on connecting to the overtones. hang solo on my panart hang

Hang solo improvisation played on my panart hang . Sorry, the video is filmed in 16:9 and so the hang looks a little bit like an egg. But it is a original PanArt Hang . Some people called these wonderfull instrument Hangdrum . The hangbuilders and i call it only hang .

hang - out in münster. trio プレイズ panart hang

A few days ago we meet for the first time at a mini Hang - Out in Münster. Rainer (sazas) play an Integral Hang , Uwe (bongo) also on Integral Hang and I (funky) play a second generation Hang. We had a lot of fun and this improvisation is recorded without we meet before or make music together before. It shows that Hang is a nice universal language. More coming soon!
