"Based on a manga by Kimura Tahiko serialised in Gangan Wing.
Nagasumi visits his grandmother near the sea during the summer. While visiting, he goes for a swim, and drowns right after entering the water. Fortunately for him he is saved by a young mermaid. Later as he tells the story to his family, a young girl named San appears at his home and begs Nagasumi to marry her.
She's followed by two large thugs and they take both him and his parents to San`s home under the sea. If that wasn't strange enough, it turns out San`s parents are mob bosses. Nagasumi is left with the choice of either death or marrying San. He chooses to marry a mermaid.
This would likely be that, except San`s father and some members of the mob are not exactly thrilled to have Nagasumi courting San and are determined to bring an end to their relationship--or him. Seto no Hanayome (瀬戸の花嫁, Seto no Hanayome lit. The Inland Sea Bride) is the title of a Japanese manga series written by Tahiko Kimura. The manga was first serialized in 2002 in the Japanese manga magazine Monthly Gangan WING, published by Square Enix. In 2004, a drama CD based on the series was released by Fronteir Works. An anime television series adaptation animated by Gonzo and directed by Seiji Kishi began airing on April 1, 2007 on TV Tokyo.
Seto no Hanayome's story revolves around a young teenage boy named Nagasumi Michishio. One day during his summer vacation, Nagasumi was saved from drowning by a mermaid, Sun Seto, in the Seto Inland Sea. However, under mermaid law, if a mermaid's identity as a mermaid has been revealed, both the mermaid who was involved and the human who saw the mermaid are to be executed. In an attempt to save both Nagasumi and Sun's lives, Sun's family, which is apparently the head of its own mob, reluctantly decides that the two are to be married.
Sun Seto (瀬戸 燦, Seto San)

Sun is the daughter of the Yakuza Seto Group's boss, Gōzaburō Seto. She is a firm believer in the chivalrous spirit of mermaids, and is devoted to her role as Nagasumi's wife. Sun is also in love with Nagasumi. Since she has yet to become an adult, Sun is unable to completely maintain her human form, and her legs revert to a tail whenever she comes into contact with water. She often cites the similarity between the words ninkyō (chivalry) and ningyo (mermaid) to stress her adherence to honorable courses of action. Opening to Seto no Hanayome (Seto's Bride), new Spring'07 anime. Read the manga a couple years back so was happy to hear about the anime. Anime is a Romantic Comedy about yakuza (mafia) mermaids (not joking). The opening song is by Sun & Lunar and is called "Romantic Summer," sung by Momoi Haruko. Mawari Zenigata (銭形 巡, Zenigata Mawari)

Mawari is the daughter of the chief of police , and a childhood friend of Nagasumi, who she has a crush on. She takes it upon herself to act as a moderator of social behavior, and often reprimands Nagasumi for some of his actions. Mawari's dream is to become a police chief like her father. Her name is related to Zenigata Heiji and "Omawari-san" (policeman in Japanese). Hey!! This goes out to Taisy who supports and made the video of Ryuuzashipping...
My fanflick is Anashipping and it is pretty much originated from the "Pegasus's neice" idea...
Ana met Kaiba when Ana was 16 and Kaiba was 18 and it was when Kaiba was just meeting Pegasus in his gaming company business. And Kaiba was also searching for the fourth Blue Eyes White Dragon, while he already had three. Ana then went to Domino High with Kaiba, Ana became social, and became good friends with Yugi Motou. Like Yugi, she bestowes upon the Millenium Jewel, and is home to a dark friendly alter ego named Bak'Ra.
*The bloody scene with Ana was a fanflick that I wrote that she got shot by a member of the gang called the Private Dawgs.
That's basically the story that I came up with...
