japanese sword making ceremony (パート 1 of 3) 刀 関

5:17
On 2nd Jan '07 I was lucky to have witnessed this. A must see. It took place in Seki, Japan. In the ceremony they use a Japanese steel called 'tamahagane', that is used to make samurai swords. This is heated up to 1,200 degrees, and the sword makers take it in turns to beat it with sledgehammers.

The Green Bamboo Snake Katana is unmistakably among the most collectible pieces yet made by Hanwei. Also includes a cloth sword bag, cleaning kit, and a numbered certificate of authenticity. Hanwei is producing only 140 Katana with the Green Saya shown here. A further 160 Katana will be available with a black saya. Overall Length: 40 3/4'' Blade: 28 1/2'' Limited Edition of 140 !!!

shoot bullet scene 10-8

1:33
What do you mean I don't get 2x Self Shot, 2x Boss Shot and 4x Two Shot for that first picture? I took it anyway, it's such a cool picture :D I've probably played this card more than any other, even more than the hated Imperishable Night 211. As in the case of that card, I would have come to utterly loathe this one, but I can't hate it since Aya is awesome. After playing it so long I came to realize that I actually cared a little about scoring in just this one case (lol), so I endeavored to score as high as possible while keeping the cool first shot. I've never watched any of the high-scoring replays for this, and I doubt I will ever have the desire to do so, but I can certainly see how crazy high scores would be gotten. I think I met with a small amount of success in trying to get a nice score here. If I ever redo this card, the list of things to improve is: 1) take a far less awesome but better-scoring first shot 2) take shots 1-3 from the side instead of top (if it scores better) 3) get Two Shot bonuses on shots 4 and 6 (I got it on 5 here) 4) time shots 1-3 and 7-9 to have better coverage of the mahoujin (this capture had crappy timings despite some better ones I got in the process of clearing the scene) 5) space Aya better for shots 7-9, so that the picture doesn't get cut off and lose me bullets (in this vid the shot score for 7 doesn't even breach 1 million!) 6) get closer to Aya when she's shooting out butterflies, for more shot coverage I'll probably only get around to redoing this if I feel like doing #1, which is only somewhat likely. In the case that I do, numbers 2-5 are certainly doable. Number 6 is a bit harder though, just because it's so nerve-wracking to get the spacing right, especially in 7-9. In any case, I am well pleased with this capture. Enjoy~ Final Score: 3693010
