The official website of the Michiko to Hatchin anime has opened, and thus confirmed that the manglobe studio (Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy) is animating its latest project for television broadcast this year. Sayo Yamamoto, a storyboarder and episode director on Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, and Eureka Seven, will oversee her first directorial work. Live-action Freesia film scriptwriter Takashi Ujita will pen the work, while Hiroshi Shimizu, an animation director on Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG, Kemonozume, and Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, will design the characters. Director Shinichiro Watanabe (of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo fame) will not be directly involved in the animation of this project, but he will contribute as the producer of another aspect for which he is also famous: music.
The title's Michiko is a free-willed "sexy diva" who destroys a supposedly inescapable prison fortress, while Hatchin is a girl fleeing her strict foster parents. "You see the mess you made with all the broken glass and metal everywhere darlin", said a casual Gambit.
"Hey, I just didn't want them to get away with the boy sugar."
"Next time you decide to pick me up and have me fight in the air warn me, i don't like to be dropped then picked back up over and over. Not good for the stomach ya know."
"Well we got the boy lets take him to the professor and Fury." Gambit nodded and the two walked over with Rouge picking up the unconscious boy by the ropes he was tied with. "So much mayhem just for a boy huh? Hey he's smiling? Why are you so happy kid?" Lloyd then started to laugh but he didn't sound like himself, The ropes that were around him started to disappear and his skin was turning blue. Rouge dropped the character and through her arms up in the air with disgust and Gambit put his right hand to his forehead.
"Looks like we got careless. So Mystique when did you and the youngin switch?" Mystique was still laughing.
"When Venom and Carnage blocked off Spiderman. Lets just say someone came to pick the boy up and have me take his place to trick you heroes into chasing the goblin", she started to giggle after this explanation.
"Magneto is in on this since your here." Mystique didn't answer. Gambit just shook his head and walked away from the scene.
"You won't fight me Gambit?"
"Nah, that isn't something a gentlemen like myself does. But I don't know about my partner." Rouge went flying after Mystique and punched her right in the kisser.
"Take care sugar, this won't be long."
"I see, thank you Gambit", said Xavier using his mind. "It looks like Lloyd got away from everyone. Gambit and Rouge report that Mystique disguised herself as him and so they went on a wild goose chase. I've told them to come back since they fought, however every other X-MEN is out there looking", reported Xavier. Fury smashed his hand on the table in the conference room that Xavier, Superman, and he was sharing. There wasn't much trust in the room.
"Any new news with the Justice League Superman?"
"I'm sorry but nothing new to report", said Superman not wanting to face Nick Fury.
"Dammit, this isn't good. I've got no choice to get more help on this." Fury picked up his phone. "Ghost Rider, have you arrived?"
"Yes, I'm with Captain Commander Yamamoto now. He said that he will help us in our cause. He will be having Soul Reapers who are able to come to the real world and help out. However there is one huge problem." There was a slight pause and silence. "Apparently three captains have betrayed the Soul Society and have joined up with the others who have taken Lloyd. So we have three powerful fighters working for Doom, Luthor, Magneto, and any others that might be with them. So of course they would help out."
"Thank you Ghost Rider." Just then a superhero barged through the doors of the conference room. He then bent over and placed his hands over his knees.
"Robin, what's wrong", asked Superman.
"We found Lloyd Irving's location." No one moved, the room was silent enough to hear a pin drop. "A soul reaper named Ichigo Kurosaki has found the location. It's a huge Castle around the outskirts of Maine and a bit into Canada."
"Send anyone we can over there now", yelled Fury.
"So this is the placed", asked Ichigo.
"No doubt, can't you feel Lloyd's spiritual presence", asked Yoruichi. Ichigo then nodded and headed over to the castle.
"I dont get why no one else could come Yoruichi."
"Don't mind it right now Ichigo...Look out!" A massive body came down trying to squish the two.
"Juggernaut Smash!" Ichigo and Yoruichi looked at each other and laughed.
