This was the first & only time we attempted to make a short film.
It is not that good, but not bad at all for first timers.
Certainly good enough to capture some great moments with some of my dearest friends.
Here is the school project we did for Miguel Dupleich back in 1992 during my own exam period.
What was I thinking? Oh yeah, I wasn't. I just didn't want to study!
Please excuse the poor picture quality as this video was filmed with a camcorder, music mixed with a LD player & editing done with two VCRs.
He shocked everyone in his class during his presentation and aced the course with this 10-minute short film about something, anything, everything or nothing.......
Starring: Ayman Farekh, Chris Chik, Michael To, Miguel Dupleich & Sim Sim (Ayman's feline companion who is no longer with us, we miss Sim Sim!)

Sinopse:
Onofre é um homem que não leva nada a sério um compromisso, seja qual for a mulher, até mesmo a mais linda da cidade, pois as trata com total frieza e as considera objetos sexuais ao seu gosto.
Todos os dias passa em frente a uma loja de artigos eróticos e observa uma personagem peculiar, que vive experimentando roupas exóticas bem para que todos que passam por ali, possam observá-la. Ao entrar na loja, todas as manequins fantasiadas tornam-se vivas, o cenário se transforma e todas as bonecas o sodomizam em loucuras sexuais.

This is the first part of the Trilogy of the Fright
Theremintone
Tone is a young boy in the midst of a family tragedy stemming from
ongoing conflicts both internal and interpersonal. The father suffers
from crushing grief for his wife after her death and has a clear
concept of his son's future: school and apprenticeship. Tone follows
the track laid out by his father for a short while but soon feels the
need to live his own life in order to maintain his own happiness in
the shadow of his father's depression. Tone lives in a hovel where he
maintains his autonomy by losing himself in the creative joy he finds
playing the ur-synthesizer, a theremin he plays by moving in organic,
ecstatic twitches. Alas the worlds clash as his gesture of reparation
comes too late. Tone's father meets his death in a nearby lake. Death
unites mother and father and Tone's freedom is smashed, he is left
alone with his guilt and is haunted by the memory of his parents.
In only a few images and scenes Ingo Weber depicts the full pain of
unyielding polarities.
Chronisch innerpsychische und interpersonelle Konflikte führen zur Famillientragödie. Der vater, gebeugt von und gefangen in der Trauer um seine ertrunkene Frau, hat für Sohn Tones Zukunft klare Vorstellungen: Schule und Lehre. Nur kurz macht sich der Bub scheinbar beherzt auf den weg des Vaters Lebenspläne umzusetzen, kehrt aber um und bewahrt sich seine Lebendigkeit neben dem depressiven Vater auf seine besondere Weise, er spielt im Schuppen das Theremin, den Ur-Synthesizer, vergisst die Bedrücktheit seiner Welt in orgastisch verzückten Zuckungen, bewahrt sich so berührend seine Kreativität und Autonomie. Die Welten kollidieren, die Wiedergutmachungsgeste kommt zu spät, der Vater ertrinkt im nahen See. Vater und Mutter sind im Tod vereint, Tone ist mit seinem Schuldgefühl alleine, kann die Befreiung nicht mehr genießen und wird von den Toten heimgesucht.
